A loft space to use to the full. In this renovation project, alpine-style elements meet with modern and linear surfaces as well as details of Scandinavian flavour. The challenge in this particular instance consisted in emphasising the various spaces whilst preserving their unique character. That is why we have chosen to keep the surfaces of certain rooms and just paint them white to renew their appearance. The same tone of white has been used for the walls and the recessed custom-made furniture which makes the most of the existing loft spaces by their seamless integration into the walls. The floor and the new sunburnt old-timber covering provide the alpine flavour and the warmth associated with it. The bathroom door flush with the wall is perfectly camouflaged in the timber panelling that is enhanced by the LED light strip cutting the wall.
